This article will focus on what it means to have a NEWSTART.
According to the Online Cambridge Dictionary, Nutrition is the process by which the body takes in and use food, especially food that needs to stay healthy, or the Scientific study of their process.
How do one identify healthy and nutritious food?
When buying food for consumption, one has to read the labels carefully to see what are the ingredients. You can also research these ingredients and see if they are good for your health .
Naturally we know that the best foods are those that remain close to their natural state. Example of these are; whole-grain foods, fruits, vegetable, legumes and nuts. They are healthy and nutritious and also contains healing properties.
Even though these foods are healthy and nutritious, there are other factors to consider when consuming them, such as; serving size (one need to eat in moderation-over eating can cause obesity), the time we eat (sometime we tend to eat sparingly which is not good for our health, sometimes we eat late or too far apart, this is a bad eating habit and can cause one to have stomach ache) and what we combined together when we eat (not all food, fruits and vegetables are ideal to prepare together).

What we eat on a daily basis affect our health. Good nutrition is a vital part of living a healthy lifestyle. Combined with physical activity, the way you eat can help you to maintain the right weight, reduce chronic disease (like heart disease and cancer) and promote your overall health.
How Nutrition can affect your health
Our body is like a motor vehicle, which needs fuel to be able to move and operate effectively. If a motor vehicle intake bad fuel it will not run properly and thus cause the engine to malfunction, likewise we need good nutritious food to keep us healthy and energetic. If food are consumed that are not nutritious, then our bodies are likely to run down.
Not having the correct nutrients in our system will lead to diseases such as cancer, arthritis, diabetes and heart disease. So what we eat is very important to our health.

Eat Your Vitamins
The best way to take your vitamins is by eating them. Whole-grain foods, fruits, vegetable, legumes and nuts contains firsthand vitamins. They have no additives and they are natural and often times fresh.
A Good Diet
The greater portion of your food should come from starches which include whole grain bread, cereal, rice, and pasta.
Next should be a generous daily intake of fresh fruits and vegetables.
The next portion should be your proteins, taken in modest amount; these may come from pulses, beans, nuts, seeds, meat alternatives and low-fat dairy produce or from tofu or soy produce.
The smallest food portions should come from vegetable fat and oils: these should be used Sparingly
A healthy daily balance of the above foods will provide the energy and nourishment you need to survive and enjoy life.
In order to become well nourished, make good food choices and stick to them. Making the choice to eat healthily will enhance your general health, and help you to look good, fell great and perform at your best. Persons often ask, “If I am eating healthy do I need to exercise”? The answer is yes! If one need to maintain and improved their physical health, they need to exercise. Some benefits of exercise include; more energy, longer life span, controls weight, helps to combat health condition, helps one sleep better and help with your sex life. These are just a few.
All organs and systems in the body were created for activity. Within your limits and under your doctor’s recommendation, exercise your muscles and bones for your well-being and regeneration. Water as they always say, is life, without water we will get dehydrated and die. According to USGS (Science for a changing world) up to 60% of the human adult body is water.
Water is the best drink possible for human beings and the one that best renews fluids in the body. Experts recommend that you drink water in abundance daily (on an average, six to eight glasses, and not at mealtime). Other widely used drinks, such as carbonated beverages, beer or coffee, are a burden to the body, which then needs to eliminate the toxic substances from the alcohol, or the caffeine and the dyes, beside storing the excess sugars as fat. This can end up obstructing the blood vessels and cause various types of vascular and cardiovascular diseases. (The Power of Hope, page 55).
Sunlight is of great importance to our health.
Sunlight is not to be feared as some persons do. In everything in life we have to be temperate. This also applies to the sunlight, too little or too much can cause a problem of bad health.
Temperature is where persons should avoid anything that is harmful to their bodies and be moderate in the things that are good, this applies to both food and our different daily activities.
We should avoid all that is harmful to our body, these include, alcohol, drugs, over eating tobacco, etc.
The good book in Romans 12:1 said’s that we should present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy acceptable to God which is our reasonable service. For our bodies to be acceptable to God we have to take care of it.
This is the most essential element of life sustaining power. It is what is combined to our bodies to make mankind a living soul. We need Fresh air daily as it helps to strengthen our immune system, give us energy and clean our lungs among other benefits. The best time to get our fresh air is in the early morning.
After physical work comes restoring rest. It is important to have a balance between physical tiredness and the hours of sleep. Respecting the seven to eight hours of sleep that the majority of adults need is a task of great importance for stress prevention. Without proper rest, it is not possible for you to face the tasks of work, and this will produce anxiety and stress. Besides rest at night, it is important to take a vacation once in a while and disconnect from work. We need daily rest and annual rest. But also, many people have forgotten the important principle of a weekly rest. (The Power of Hope page 56)
Trust in God
Matthew 11:29-30 States; Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
If one need a stress free life they should claim the promise above and apply it to their life.
In all our doing we should trust our creator God. Science has proven that those who trust God and have faith in him are less stress than those who don’t. Peace of mind and joy is a plus for them.
